The Market Pavilion and One Middle Road are two of Chadstone Shopping Centre’s most recent landmark developments. Landscape Plus was engaged by John Holland to deliver both the hard and soft landscaping packages for this development. The works were delivered across 3 main areas.

At the Southern Entry, we installed all the softscape, irrigation, as well as the custom timber furniture elements. At One Middle Road located at the Eastern entry to the Centre, our primary role was the design and construction of vehicle mitigation walls – a prominent feature of the new entry. We also completed all softscape and seating. On level one, at the entrance to the new office buildings, we installed the blockwork wall and seating, plus all softscape including planting and irrigation. We also constructed kerbing and exposed pavements around the building.

Landscape Plus worked closely with John Holland to resolve design challenges, innovate where possible, and keep the project on time. Despite heavy delays on the wider development, Landscape Plus was able to accelerate our program and finish within the required timeframe, whilst delivering additional works as requested by John Holland. Our ability to scale resources up and down as necessary to meet program requirements was key to this project’s success.
