CYP awards Landscape Plus first package on Metro Tunnels

Landscape Plus has been awarded a $500,000 contract for the first package on the CYP project as part of the Metro Tunnels, which are being delivered by John Holland and Lendlease. The scope of works includes the reinstating of Peppercorn Lawn at the foot of the Princes Bridge on the banks of the Yarra. The heritage listed site has been used to pump grout into the soft banks of the river to stabilise the soil for tunnelling. Now that that component of the project is complete, the site needs to be returned to its original state, with stone walls being reconstructed piece by piece. Working closely with CYP and the Melbourne City Council, Landscape Plus will have the park ready by Christmas. This contract is an important start to a Tier 1 project on which we hope to win more work.
