Bannockburn School is located half an hour north-west of Geelong, and was one of 11 schools completed by Landscape Plus as part of a package delivered by Tier 1 contractor Watpac on behalf of the Department of Education and Training Victoria.

The Bannockburn School landscaping package was completed within a tight 3.5-month time frame. The scope of work included a large area of soft landscaping, highlights of which include a hydroseeded turf sports field, playgrounds, sand pits and synthetic turf. Landscape Plus also delivered a premium soccer pitch for the school, installation of which required high specification sand and special drainage material.

At the time that this project began, the Landscape Plus Geelong division consisted of approximately 5 staff members. The entire Melbourne division of 40-50 workers were despatched to Bannockburn to bring the project home within the programmed timeline.

Landscape Plus were committed to achieving a great result for this project and spent extra time on ensuring the establishment of the hydroseeded turf. Following the successful completion of this project, Landscape Plus were awarded several more projects by the same client.
