In August 2022, Landscape Plus was proud to be awarded the Arden Station landscaping and public realm works contract as part of the Melbourne Metro Tunnel Project for the Cross Yarra Partnership (CYP). This is part of the 9-kilometre twin tunnel rail project that adds five new stations throughout the city.

At the time it was awarded, Arden Station was Landscape Plus’ largest project to date. This project was won off the back of the successful completion of a smaller stage of the CYP at Peppercorn Lawn on the banks of the Yarra in 2019.

Working on all four sides of the brand new railway station, the scope included a demolition package, new kerbing and gutters, paving, stormwater, electrical works, asphalt works, street furniture, structural concreting and concrete walls.

It was Landscape Plus and Outside Ideas’ long history of working on complex public realm projects and street upgrades that convinced the client that we had the experience and capabilities necessary to successfully deliver this project within the required time frame. Arden Station is due to be completed in late 2023.
